Second to seeing Dad and Kate of course ;) To get to the ruins, one must venture down an obstacle packed road, fit with broken cattle grates, and Senegal sized pot holes. Contrary to Dad’s negativity, my response was that these hurdles weed out the less inclined tourist, and makes for a superior, more pleasant experience.  /
La experiencia la mas sobresaliente de mi estancia – por supuesto a parte de volver a ver a mi papa y a Katalina – quizás fue la de visitar las ruinas muy antiguas de Tantok.  Para alcanzar a llegar ahí fue menestar atreverse a manejar por un camino a tropezones incluso baches como los de Senegal y enrejados de hierro quebrados protegiendo el ganado en el entorno.  Al contrario de lo que pensó el chofer mi Papi, yo los veía como preveniendo que pasen los turistas menos dedicados y asi lo que hace una experiencia mas linda y apreciable para los demás.

En las orillas de la ciudad de San Luis Potosi hay nopales por todas partes.  Al contrario de lo que pensábamos, estas plantas dan buena fruta llamada “tunas”.  Yo no volveré a comer una mas podría comprender como unos las consideran sabrosas.

While there were some definite similarities, I tried multiple dishes that I had never experienced. My favorite of which was this- huevos divorciados!  /
Todos dicen que la comida Mexicana en los EUA se diferencia tanto de la comida en Mexico.  Aunque hayan semejanzas, yo probé varios platillos por la primera vez – mi favorito se ve aquí – los huevos divorciados! Chile verde y chile rojo!
